Maybe! If you are a NDIS or DVA patient, you will need to provide a referral from your GP. If you don’t fall into either of these categories, a referral is not required. However, details provided in a referral (medical history, medications etc) is always useful for the initial consultation.
Please bring the shoes that you wear regularly for daily activities and exercise. We recommend you wear clothing that will allow us to see your knees (loose trousers, shorts etc). If you have any relevant medical history (scans, referrals etc) this will aid your initial consultation. Lastly, don’t forget to bring your health fund card and you’re all set!
Yes we do! DVA White cards must have an eligible condition and our team will work with you to have the treatment plan accepted by DVA. NDIS patients should contact their personal advisor for the relevant details to begin treatment.
Yes! Each calendar year you are eligible for 5 subsidised consultations to allied health professionals. To obtain this, you should contact your GP and discuss having a Care Plan completed.
Health funds will pay varying amounts for orthotic devices and this largely depends on your cover and your maximum limit for podiatry. Please call your health fund to check how much they will cover for your orthotic devices. The item code 221 is used twice, for your left and right foot.
Yes, we have onsite parking! We are the pink house on the corner of Milton Rd and Morley St, you can access this carpark from Morley St. Please be aware, if you are travelling outbound from the city along Milton Rd, there is no right turn into Morley St.
